Our Governance
At NumFOCUS, we believe that our community should have a strong voice in how we fulfill our mission.
NumFOCUS is led by our Board of Directors, a group of volunteers who provide oversight, strategic direction, and represent the interests of our community. Unlike other organizations, our Board of Directors is directly elected by members of the projects we serve through a transparent and community-driven election process.
Structure
The Board consists of two groups, the Administrative Board and the Technical Steering Committee, each with distinct responsibilities.
